“The information needed to be designed in a way that would amplify the data conclusions”
Brief
The team at Briefing magazine wanted a fresh new look for its annual report, Frontiers, to reflect its forward-thinking horizon-scanning content.
Concept
The report needed to work across print, digital, app and have elements that could work as social media assets. Using raw data collected by the team, I designed a series of graphics in brand colours to best represent the information, which took the form of infographics, exploded pie charts, speedometers and bubble charts. I complemented the visual information with a layout device to pull out relevant pieces of textual and graphic information, which we fondly referred to as a ‘cartouche’.
