I fell in love with magazine design when I picked up my first issue of Just17 back in the nineties. I loved the way that information could be designed, the way that fonts could speak louder than the actual words and how a good layout could draw you in and guide you around a page without you even realising it. These are the design principles that I still stand by and editorial design remains my first love! I have had the pleasure of working on some big newsstand titles, including Ideal Home, Good Homes, Wedding, House Beautiful and Grand Designs, as well as business titles like Drapers and Briefing, and various bookazines, special editions and editorial supplements too.
